Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. This role is instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights that guide strategic and operational decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, process, analyze, and interpret data that drives measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect data from various internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Clean and preprocess data, identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies.
- Analyze data using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable outcomes.
- Ensure data integrity and security, adhering to relevant compliance standards.
- Document data sources, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Create intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Stay up to date with new tools, technologies, and best practices in data analytics.
- Use data-driven insights to solve business problems and uncover opportunities.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across functions and deliver under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certifications in data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of basic machine learning and predictive modeling concepts.
- Domain experience in industries such as fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or IT.
