Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Marketplace Ads Manager to lead our e-commerce advertising strategy, with a primary focus on Amazon. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across various marketplaces, including Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and Amazon DSP. This role is crucial for driving sales, increasing brand visibility, and maximizing return on ad spend (ROAS) for our e-commerce business.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
- Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive marketplace advertising strategy aligned with business objectives and sales targets.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in Amazon advertising and other e-commerce platforms.
Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Hands-on management of Amazon advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and Amazon DSP.
- Monitor campaign performance on a daily basis, analyzing key metrics such as ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sales), ROAS, TACoS (Total Advertising Cost of Sales), and CVR (Conversion Rate).
- Implement A/B testing for ad creatives, keywords, and targeting to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Manage and optimize advertising budgets to ensure efficient spending and maximum ROI.
Amazon DSP (Demand-Side Platform):
- Plan and execute programmatic advertising campaigns on Amazon DSP to drive brand awareness and traffic.
- Leverage various targeting options, including audience segments, remarketing, and in-market audiences, to reach relevant shoppers.
- Analyze DSP campaign performance and provide insights for future strategy.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Generate regular performance reports for all marketplace advertising campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Present findings to leadership and stakeholders, explaining the impact of advertising efforts on overall e-commerce sales.
- Use data to identify trends, diagnose performance issues, and inform future advertising decisions.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the E-commerce, Marketing, and Product teams to align advertising campaigns with product launches, promotions, and inventory levels.
- Provide insights on product listing optimization (A+ Content, images, bullet points) to improve ad performance and conversion rates.
Other Platforms:
- Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns on other e-commerce marketplaces as needed (e.g., Walmart, eBay, etc.).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in managing e-commerce advertising campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Amazon.
- Proven expertise in Amazon Ads, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Amazon DSP (Demand-Side Platform).
- Deep knowledge of keyword research tools, bid management strategies, and campaign optimization techniques.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
