Job Summary

As a Medical Record Review and Summarization Specialist, you will deliver high-quality summaries of US patient medical records to support litigation, insurance claim adjudication, workers' compensation or personal injury contexts. Work will involve extracting key facts, chronologies, service provider details, injuries, treatments, and outcomes to generate 'hyperlinked' summaries for legal/claims clients. Some prior experience of US healthcare/litigation support preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and organise pages of US medical records, extract salient details (injury/presentation, service provider, chronology, interventions, complications etc)
  • Create "chronology sheets" and summary reports that integrate hyperlinks (to original documents/pages) or indices for easy client navigation
  • Ensure the summaries meet client specifications (format, level of detail, turnaround time) and adhere to medico-legal standards (neutral, factual, no unauthorized interpretation).
  • Use secure systems for PHI/US records, adhere to confidentiality, data-security protocols.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate – BAMS/ BHMS/ BPT/ BDS/ B. Pharm/M. Pharm
  • You must have minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in the same domain.
  • Excellent ability to read and interpret US medical records (history/physical, operative reports, consults, radiology reports, labs).
  • Strong English writing ability: summarize complex information clearly and logically.
  • Attention to detail, ability to maintain high accuracy under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work flexible shift hours and adapt to changing client demands.
  • Strong Clinical and Medical Knowledge
  • Good command of English (both written and verbal)
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel)

Desirable

  • Prior experience in medico-legal records review and summarization, personal injury claim summarization, workers' comp cases etc.
  • Knowledge of US healthcare system/terminology, anatomy, injuries, rehabilitation
  • Experience with document management systems, indexing/hyperlinking, PDF annotation.
