Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quality Engineer located in Kochi. The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing quality engineering tasks, ensuring quality control processes are followed, and implementing quality assurance protocols. Additional responsibilities include Independently manage all QA related functions of a Relay Manufacturing Plant.

Understand and communicate customer expectations throughout the Organization.

Effective Implementation of QMS.

Create a Continuous Improvement culture.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist HOQ in all Total Quality related activities.

· Implement SPC Practices.

· Initiate SCAR/ Process and Final NCs and monitor the effective closure

· Maintain all QA Related Documents

· Plan and implement Calibration system.

· Train team members all QC Tools.

· Ensure that the finished products undergo final inspection as per the WI for Final

Inspection.

· Ensures corrective actions are implemented for all reported Non conformances.

· Implement all Quality techniques like 7QC, 8D, SPC, MSA, Process Capability studies in

the manufacturing process to reduce the rejection

· Manage QRQC process and report the status to HOD

· Monitor and Improve Department KPIs

· Supplier Quality Management

· Preparation of all Quality records like Incoming , In process , Final Inspection Reports

· Participate in Internal Quality Audit Programme.

· NPI programs and its effective implementation in the manufacturing process

· Participate internal audits if qualified internal auditor

· First Article, PPAP Approval

· On time Closure of all Customer complaints.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

· BE / B Tech in Electronics/Electrical Engineering

· 5 to 6 years of experience in EMS or similar kind of industry. Relays Exposure is

preferred.

· Exposure in ISO 9001:2015 Implementation.

. Knowledge in Quality tools like 7QC, 8D, MSA, SPC , FMEA etc.
