About the Role

Dashtoon is looking for an expert on all things related to open-source image generation models such as Stable Diffusion and Flux to work on Dashtoon Studio, our platform for creating AI-generated comics

The creative technologist role lies at the intersection of creativity and engineering

You will research how to use open models such as Stable Diffusion and Flux to create stunning comics

The role involves creating workflows and conducting experiments using tools such as ComfyUI on these models and their various supporting components, such as Controlnets and Loras

- You are expected to build an intuition of how the comic creation process works and develop workflows using the latest AI models which will be incorporated into Dashtoon Studio
- Freshers are welcome to apply

Years of experience is no bar as long as you satisfy the criteria below
- Requirements

Knowledge of Stable Diffusion techniques and workflows like text to image, image to image, inpainting, controlnet, face swap, and others

Knowledge of how image generation AI model components work like text encoder, Sampler, VAE etc
- Knowledge of using ComfyUI (mandatory), and other popular image generation interfaces and products
- Ability to fine tune an image generation model end to end by yourself using the latest techniques such as Lora

Publicly uploaded models or projects on Civit / Huggingface / Gituhb projects are a bonus
- Basic familiarity of software engineering practices such as using a terminal, ssh into a server, knowledge of Github, ability to understand Python code
- Experience in creating artwork or storytelling using Flux or Stable Diffusion
- Up to date with the latest tools, techniques and development of Flux and Stable Diffusion
- Active in the Stable Diffusion community on Discord Reddit
- Avid consumer of pop culture and media, specifically manga, manhwa, anime and comics in general
- Excellent aptitude to solve ambiguous and complex problems
- Proof of work in AI generated content creation done so far
- A techno-optimist mindset
- Your Role

Develop end workflows to fine tune Flux and Stable Diffusion for art styles and consistent characters on Dashtoon Studio

This includes data curation, preparation, captioning and running training experiments
- Researching techniques to improve the quality of AI generated images such as pixel perfect faces and hands
- Design and manage the execution of ambitious generative AI experiments in collaboration with the Dashtoon team
- Pioneer new methods of content creation using AI including animation, live action video, voice cloning, chatbots and more
- Build intuition of what it takes to produce professional comics using AI
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement the researched techniques within Dashtoon Studio
- LocationThis position is in-office at Dashtoon headquarters in Bangalore, India
