Foreclosure Specialist

Job Overview:

Review of the foreclosure milestones and taking necessary actions to mitigate any delays in foreclosure

process. Coordinate with the foreclosure attorney firm to meet the foreclosure timelines.

Review loans with foreclosure sale and request for all relevant documents to prepare the bidding

instructions.

Complete the assigned workflows to place foreclosures on hold or resume foreclosures, send close & bill

instructions to foreclosure attorney firm where applicable. Generate judgment figures and

reinstatement figures to be sent to foreclosure attorney firm.

Prepare documents for execution along the foreclosure process.

Review loans which are eligible for foreclosure. Ensure all assigned cases are worked in accordance with

regulatory, investor/insurer, and Trust Policy requirements and timelines. Update and document all

tracking systems including the clear and accurate documentation of the accounts worked

Job Overview:

Evaluate the Loss Mitigation package received and determine if the package is complete or incomplete. Trigger missing documents letter

to the customer where the package is incomplete.

Review of income documents and Loss mitigation application form along with various supporting documents.

Review all income documents, calculate income, ensure all insurer requirements are met, prep file for final decision.

Order AVM or BPO, request escrow analysis, order foreclosure fees and costs, letter mail tracking information. Ensure all assigned cases

are worked in accordance with regulatory, investor/insurer, and Trust Policy requirements and timelines. Update and document all

tracking systems including the clear and accurate documentation of the accounts worked Roles & Responsibilities Processing tasks as per

Basic Degree completion (15 years of education) Good written and oral communications skills in English US Mortgage Experience in Loss

mitigation/Home retention (Minimum 12 Months)

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Good Knowledge about Bankruptcy process and basic understanding of the Bankruptcy related documents
• Strong understanding towards Bankruptcy Reconciliation, Ledger preparation, Proof of Claim and Motion for Relief

processes

• Reviewing of all the required Foreclosure documents for filing MFR. Also, should have basic knowledge of all the processes

under Bankruptcy.

• Reviewing the borrower details to determine whether the borrower is falling under any state regulated protections which

in turn will influence Bankruptcy

• Good knowledge of reviewing Mortgage and Bankruptcy related documents
• Ensure all assigned cases are worked in accordance with regulatory, investor/insurer, and Trust Policy requirements and

timelines.

• Update and document all tracking systems including the clear and accurate documentation of the accounts worked
