Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Bid Manager with strong technical writing capabilities to join our presales team. This role requires a blend of proposal management, content development, technical articulation, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing bids/RFP responses end-to-end while also producing clear, compelling, and client-focused documentation that highlights our technical and business value.
Primary Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in Bid Management, Presales, or Proposal Writing, preferably in IT / Consulting / Technology domain
- Foundational knowledge and experience working in cloud environments like GCP, AWS or Azure.
- Proven ability to manage complex bids with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Excellent technical writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Bid management tools and CRM systems is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to client needs.
Core Responsibilities:
Bid Management
- Lead and manage the complete bid lifecycle (RFI, RFP, RFQ, tenders, proposals, and presentations).
- Collaborate with sales, presales, delivery, product, and leadership teams to gather inputs and develop tailored responses.
- Create and manage bid timelines and deliverables ensuring high-quality, on-time submission.
- Maintain and improve proposal templates, reusable content, and knowledge base for efficiency.
- Conduct post-bid reviews and implement best practices for continuous improvement.
Technical Writing
- Develop clear, concise, and compelling technical and business content for proposals, presentations, case studies, and solution documents.
- Translate complex technical solutions into business-focused value propositions that resonate with client needs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to capture technical details and refine them into customer-friendly narratives.
- Ensure consistency of tone, messaging, and branding across all presales documentation.
- Maintain a repository of technical and non-technical content for reuse in future proposals.
