Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Superintendent to oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare standards. The ideal candidate will provide leadership, maintain discipline, and coordinate nursing services effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all nursing staff in the hospital.
 - Ensure implementation of hospital policies and nursing standards.
 - Plan, organize, and coordinate nursing operations and activities.
 - Monitor patient care quality and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
 - Maintain proper staffing levels and prepare duty rosters.
 - Handle training, orientation, and performance evaluations of nursing staff.
 - Coordinate with doctors and other departments for smooth patient care.
 - Maintain medical records and ensure proper documentation.
 - Manage nursing supplies and equipment efficiently.
 - Handle grievances and maintain a positive work environment.
 
Required Qualifications:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
 - Minimum 8–10 years of nursing experience
 - Registered Nurse with a valid license.
 - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
 - Knowledge of hospital policies, NABH standards, and infection control practices.
