Role & responsibilities

  • End-to-End Payroll Processing:

    Ensure timely and accurate processing of monthly payroll for all employees.
  • Compliance and Statutory Filing:

    Handle statutory deductions like PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and ensure timely deposit and filing of returns (EPFO, ESIC, Income Tax, etc.).
  • Audit & Reconciliation:

    Perform monthly reconciliations of payroll, taxes, and deductions. Assist in internal/external payroll audits.
  • Data Management:

    Maintain and update employee data including new joiners, exits, salary changes, leaves, attendance, and variable pay components.
  • Payslips & Reports:

    Generate and distribute payslips. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly payroll reports for management and statutory purposes.
  • Query Management:

    Address and resolve employee payroll-related queries and grievances in a timely manner.
  • Process Improvement:

    Recommend and implement improvements in payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Documentation:

    Maintain payroll records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in any stream
  • Experience in payroll processing, preferably in a mid-to-large size organization
  • Experience with KEKA software is a plus
