We are looking for a skilled Head Baker with 10-18 years of experience to lead our bakery team in the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry-making and bakery operations.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Manage daily bakery operations, including dough preparation, baking, and decorating.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train a team of bakers and pastry chefs to meet high-quality standards.
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring minimal waste and optimal costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and housekeeping, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Implement health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in bakery management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry-making techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
