Production Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee and optimize our production processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of food production, quality control, and supply chain management, along with excellent leadership skills and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily production activities.
• Lead and supervise the production team, ensuring proper staffing, training, and performance monitoring.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet business demands.
• Ensure adherence to quality control, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices GMP guidelines throughout the production process.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and ensure a safe working environment.
• Supervise and maintain production equipment, coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to prevent shortages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with procurement, quality assurance, packaging, and logistics teams for seamless operations.
• Labour Management – Time to Time assessment and delegating to task them wisely.
• Follow SOPs provided by the MD.
• Report to the MD's on a daily basis.
• As a Production Manager, ensure regular attendance and submit a daily attendance report.
• Monitor and maintain daily records (e.g., DPR, Daily Stock Report).

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in production management, preferably in the food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Strong background in food safety regulations, GMP, HACCP, and quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience in managing production lines, optimizing workflows, and ensuring operational efficiency.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
• Experience in handling procurement, supply chain coordination, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with automated production systems and industry-specific software is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹45,000.00 per month
