Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled
Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute

automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software products
. The ideal candidate will

have strong analytical skills, experience with various test automation tools, and a keen eye

for detail.


Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using different tools/frameworks

● Collaborate with developers, Manual Testers, and product managers to understand

requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

● Execute automated test suites for applicable platforms including web, mobile, and API

applications.

● Identify, document, and track bugs using defect management tools.

● Participate in test planning, estimation, and test case reviews.

● Enhance testing efficiency by identifying and implementing improvements in test

automation frameworks.

● Work closely with the manual testing team to identify test scenarios for automation.

● Write clear and concise bug reports, and track issues through resolution.

● Ensure compliance with software testing standards, procedures, and methodologies.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field.

● 1–3 years of experience in automation testing.

● Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for test script

development.

● Good understanding of HTML, CSS, DOM, and web debugging tools.

● Strong knowledge of atleast 1 testing frameworks

● Experience in API testing using Postman

● Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git.

● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Good to Have Skills/Experience:

● Experience with performance testing tools (like JMeter, LoadRunner).

● Knowledge of cloud-based test execution platforms (like BrowserStack).
