Role Overview

The Sr. Manager / Manager – Quality Assurance (Spinning Unit) will be responsible for ensuring product quality standards across the spinning unit, maintaining customer satisfaction, and driving quality improvement initiatives. The role involves close coordination with production teams and leadership to ensure operational excellence and product reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction by investigating and resolving quality-related issues and customer complaints.
  • Supervise inspection and testing teams to maintain high technical integrity and productivity.
  • Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and ongoing quality objectives.
  • Coordinate quality objectives with production operations to maximize product reliability while minimizing costs.
  • Create and implement inspection criteria, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation systems.
  • Oversee inspection activities throughout the production cycle to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide training and skill development programs for junior employees to enhance quality awareness and work practices.
  • Maintain sharp knowledge of yarn quality testing instruments and procedures.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum years of senior-level experience in Quality Assurance within the spinning/textile industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of spinning processes, quality systems, and yarn testing.
  • Proven leadership in managing QA teams and maintaining quality systems in compliance with ISO standards.

Qualifications

  • UG: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Textiles
  • PG: M.Tech (preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum: 15 years
  • Maximum: 20 years

  • Commensurate with experience and skills.
