Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
Business Development Manager (BDM)
with strong exposure to the
US accounting market
. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities from the United States and managing client relationships, ensuring seamless service delivery through our Ahmedabad-based operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire
    new accounting clients from the US
    for our service offerings.
  • Build long-term, trust-based relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and procurement teams in the US.
  • Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation → qualification → proposal creation → negotiation → closure.
  • Conduct US market research to understand customer needs, competitor landscapes, industry trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored presentations, proposals, and pitches to US clients.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM data, forecasts, and weekly activity reports.
  • Collaborate closely with internal delivery teams in Ahmedabad to ensure smooth onboarding and successful service delivery.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–6 years of experience
    in Business Development, Sales, or Client Acquisition with a focus on the
    US accounts market
    .
  • Proven track record of closing deals and managing US-based accounting clients.
  • Strong understanding of US business culture, communication style, and time zones.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills suitable for US client interactions.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in IT/ITES, outsourcing, or offshore delivery models is a strong advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and sales reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with US startups, SMEs, or enterprise-level clients.
  • Ability to travel to the US when required.
  • Strong analytical, proposal-building, and solution-selling skills.
