How will you make an impact in this role?

Function Description

Global Commercial Services (GCS) accounts for nearly 50%25 of American Express' card spend. GCS continues to be a fast-growing business within American Express with the key objectives of accelerating growth, growing profitability, and improving product value propositions to meet client needs. The role is an exciting opportunity to be part of the GCS growth story in a dynamic, intellectually stimulating, open, fun, and collaborative environment.

The Data File Enablement (DFE) Team focus is on understanding the client needs, providing consultancy, change management and execution. The team partners closely with the client, strategic partners, third parties and multiple internal American Express teams – Client Management (CLM), Technologies, Development, Global AR, Client Incentives, Commercial Insights, Global New Accounts (GNA), Global Network Services, Compliance, Credit Fraud Risk, Infrastructure and Global Servicing Network.

Responsibilities
  • Participate as a key team member on audit projects responsible for assisting with core audit tasks.
  • Will be responsible to ensure that SOPs are developed and maintained as per standards and guidelines.
  • He/she will evaluate team performance and provide continuous mentor, training and feedback while recognizing accomplishments. Build a sense of urgency and excitement within the team to meet business goals and raise the bar by driving continuous improvement.
  • Identify quality parameters and metrics and maintain a tracking mechanism.
  • Perform Quality audits of the identified colleagues and share weekly updates.
  • Partnering with Team leaders to provide effective feedback to the colleagues.
  • Sharing the learning with the DFE team and its leadership and recommend required trainings, techniques, etc to reduce errors.
  • The incumbent would need to work flexible hours and be comfortable in a virtual work environment. The incumbent may also need to perform night shift as and when needed and therefore should become comfortable with working multiple time zones.
  • Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts.
  • Prepares presentation to Leaders and facilitation of monthly action planning with teams to drive month on month improvements.

  • Outstanding organisational and time management capability
  • Experience and ability in leveraging and developing relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Ability to present information in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel/Power point)
  • Strong written & verbal Communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications

Graduate with 2+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge on sanctions screening(AML/KYC) would be an added advantage.
