About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) Quality Inspector to join our dynamic quality control team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Hexagon CMM machines and will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain Hexagon CMM machines to perform dimensional checks on components and assemblies.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and measurements of parts and products based on engineering specifications and blueprints.
  • Interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
  • Generate detailed inspection reports and document findings for quality audits.
  • Ensure all inspection processes are compliant with company quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and troubleshoot any quality-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in calibration and maintenance of CMM machines to ensure accurate performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the quality department.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a CMM Quality Inspector, with a focus on Hexagon machines.
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with CMM software (such as PC-DMIS, QUINDOS, or similar) and creating inspection programs.
  • Familiarity with other manual measuring instruments (micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges).
  • Ability to work independently, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills for report generation and coordination with production teams.
  • Immediate joiner preferred (or within 30 days of notice period).
