Job Description:
As a Front Desk Executive and Receptionist at DM Hospital, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and welcoming patients, managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring that the front desk area is organized and welcoming. You will be responsible for handling patient inquiries, processing patient information, and providing excellent customer service to create a positive experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
- Answer phone calls promptly and handle inquiries regarding services, appointments, and general information.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, maintaining an accurate calendar.
- Manage patient registration and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records.
- Coordinate with other medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room.
- Address patient complaints or concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor.
- Proficient in using computer systems and software, including MS Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
