Job Description—Accounts Executive / Finance Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented
Accounts Executive
to manage day-to-day accounting, statutory compliance, reconciliations, vendor-related activities, and audit preparation. The role requires hands-on experience with
Zoho Books
,
Payroll
,
TDS
,
GST
, and
AP/AR functions
.

Roles & Responsibilities (Based purely on the list you shared)

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Posting
    journal entries
    and preparing books for audit purposes.
  • Posting
    invoices into Zoho Books
    related to payables and receivables.
  • Weekly
    PayPro preparation
    for account payables.
  • Handling
    AR & AP entries
    in Zoho Books.

Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Preparing
    Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS)
    on a weekly basis.
  • Managing
    monthly PF reconciliation
    with Keka ECR and monthly paysheet creation.
  • Managing
    monthly ESI reconciliation
    with Keka ECR and monthly paysheet creation.
  • Preparing
    PT (Professional Tax) working and returns
    .

TDS / GST Compliance

  • Monthly
    TDS working
    and
    challan preparation
    .
  • TDS quarterly consolidation
    and data preparation.
  • Sending
    Quarterly TDS Form 16A
    to vendors.
  • Handling
    GSTR-1 working and filing
    .
  • Managing
    GSTR-2A reconciliation
    with the purchase book and filing GSTR-3B.
  • Preparing and filing
    monthly GSTR-3B
    .

Additional Compliance & Documentation

  • Preparation of necessary
    audit data.
  • Coordinating statutory data, reconciliations, and regulatory submissions.

Skills Required

  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Zoho Books
    .
  • Knowledge of
    TDS, GST, PF, ESI
    , and statutory filings.
  • Experience in
    AP/AR management
    .
  • Strong understanding of journal entries,
    BRS, compliance & payroll inputs
    .
  • Working knowledge of Excel (Pivot and VLOOKUP preferred).
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline.

Qualifications

  • B.Com/M.Com/MBA in Finance or equivalent.
  • 1–4 years of experience in accounting operations.
