As a Security Manager, your role involves overseeing all aspects of hotel security to ensure the safety and protection of guests, staff, and property. You will be responsible for implementing security policies, managing the security team, coordinating emergency responses, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing security policies and procedures in line with hotel standards. - Supervising and scheduling the activities of security personnel across all hotel premises. - Monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular patrols of the hotel property. - Responding promptly and effectively to any security incidents, emergencies, or guest concerns. - Conducting investigations of incidents such as theft, accidents, or policy violations. - Ensuring proper maintenance and functionality of all security equipment and alarm systems. - Liaising with local law enforcement and emergency services when required. - Training staff on safety protocols, emergency response, and loss prevention. - Maintaining records of incidents, access logs, lost and found items, and regulatory compliance. - Ensuring all security staff deliver courteous and professional guest service. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred. - Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills. - Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control, and safety equipment. - Knowledge of local security laws and emergency protocols. - Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills. - Certification in security or safety management is an advantage (e.g., CPP, PSP).
