Role Overview

We are looking for a
Lead Tester
with strong expertise in
Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT)
along with hands-on experience in
regression, load, and automation testing
. This role will lead our product quality and application security initiatives by ensuring every release is robust, compliant, and secure against potential threats.

The ideal candidate will bring both
offensive (ethical hacking)
and
defensive (test management and automation)
capabilities to strengthen our software assurance framework.

Key Responsibilities

•
VAPT Leadership:
Plan, execute, and report
Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing
across web, mobile, API, and server layers.

•
Ethical Hacking:
Perform controlled ethical hacking simulations to identify and exploit weaknesses responsibly.

•
Regression & Functional Testing:
Design and manage regression test suites to validate application stability after every release or code change.

•
Load & Performance Testing:
Conduct
load, stress, and endurance tests
to ensure scalability, stability, and performance of ERP and SaaS modules.

•
Automation & Scripting:
Develop, maintain, and run automated scripts for continuous testing and security validation.

•
Security Compliance:
Collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to implement recommendations from VAPT findings and ensure adherence to security standards (OWASP, ISO 27001, etc.).

•
Reporting & Documentation:
Create detailed test reports, vulnerability summaries, and remediation tracking documentation.

•
Team Mentorship:
Guide QA and Dev teams on secure coding, testing best practices, and vulnerability prevention measures.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in
VAPT
,
Ethical Hacking
, and
Security Testing
tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Nessus).

• Proven experience in
Regression
,
Load
, and
Performance Testing
using tools such as
JMeter
,
Selenium
, or similar frameworks.

• Ability to
create and execute automated test scripts
(Python, Java, or Shell scripting preferred).

• Deep understanding of
OWASP Top 10
,
CWE
,
SANS
, and
web application security
standards.

• Strong analytical mindset for identifying risk exposure and recommending remediation strategies.

• Excellent documentation, reporting, and coordination skills.

Certifications:
CEH, OSCP, or any recognized VAPT/security certification preferred.
