We are seeking a Solutions Architect based in India to support our Federal Proposal and Bid Management team, focusing on RFIs, RFPs, and competitive bids.

Role Overview:

The Solutions Architect will play a key role in bridging technical solutions with proposal requirements. This individual will collaborate with pre-sales, proposal managers, and technical SMEs to design, articulate, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with Federal client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead solution design efforts for Federal RFIs, RFPs, and Bids, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Pre-Sales, Proposal Writers, SMEs, Delivery, and Business Development) to develop winning proposals.
  • Draft and review technical sections of proposals, solution overviews, and architecture diagrams.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with Federal standards (NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA, Zero Trust, etc.).
  • Support pricing, staffing models, and level-of-effort estimates by providing architectural insights.
  • Conduct risk assessments and present solution trade-offs to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on Federal IT trends (Cloud, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Data Platforms, DevSecOps).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years of IT experience with at least 3–5 years in Solution Architecture / Pre-Sales / Federal Proposals.
  • Strong knowledge of federal procurement processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ, IDIQ, GWACs, BPA).
  • Expertise in at least two of the following: Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Data & Analytics, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, Enterprise Platforms (ServiceNow, Salesforce, ERP, etc.).
  • Excellent skills in writing technical narratives for proposals and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with DoD 8140, NIST 800-series, FedRAMP, FISMA, and Zero Trust frameworks.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with US Federal clients and knowledge of Federal contracting vehicles.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, CISSP, ITIL, or PMP.
  • Prior experience supporting Proposal/Bid teams from offshore (India) for US clients.
