The facilitator will teach both English Language & Literature and Theatre at the DP level, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and inquiry-based learning.

The role includes planning lessons, assessing student work, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting students in their Internal and External Assessments, Extended Essays, and TheatreJob description

  • Teach IBDP English Language & Literature and Theatre courses.
  • Design and deliver creative, student-centered learning experiences.
  • Guide students in completing IAs, EEs, and other IB assessments.
  • Organize and support school theatre productions and performances.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in cross-disciplinary planning and activities.
  • Participate in professional development and IB training as required.
  • Assist in the preparation and grading of internal assessments and external examinations.
  • Participate in school events, such as parent-teacher conferences, faculty meetings, and other schoolrelated activities.

Qualifications and Position Requirements:Bachelor's degree in English, Theatre, Literature, Education, or a related field. Master's degree is desirable.

  • IB Diploma Program teaching experience, particularly in English Language and Literature.
  • In-depth knowledge of the IBDP curriculum, assessment criteria, and teaching methodologies.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for fostering student development, academic success, and a love for language.
  • Experience with Extended Essay supervision.
  • Familiarity with using digital tools for teaching and assessment.
  • Commitment to student-centered teaching and active learning strategies.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience teaching English.

Prior IBDP experience preferred.
