Skills:

· We are looking for a dedicated QA person to test the Front-end application, testing data pipelines built using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Application Integration and the power BI reports.

· Should ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our web applications.

· Will have to work closely with frontend developers, UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend teams to test and validate features, find bugs, and help deliver excellent user experience.

· Design, write, and maintain test cases—for front-end components (UI, responsive layouts, interactions, etc.), Power BI reports and dashboards, ADF and Application integration

· Review requirements, business rules, dashboards/report wireframes to understand what needs to be built and tested.

· Analyse functional specifications, system design documents, interface / API definitions, and data flow diagrams to identify critical integration points and dependencies.

· Execute integration testing of multiple applications/systems/modules to verify correct interaction. Perform data validation and reconciliation between source and destination systems.

· Review requirements, designs, and user stories to understand expected behavior and identify testable scenarios.

· Perform functional testing, regression testing, and UI testing (including cross-browser and cross-device).

· The person will ensure that data ingestion, transformation, and delivery are accurate, timely, and reliable. You'll work closely with data engineers, ETL developers, business analysts, and operations to validate data flows, monitor pipeline behavior, and assure data quality through all stages

· Perform data validation / reconciliation: compare source vs transformed vs target data (row counts, summary stats, aggregate values), checking for correctness, completeness, accuracy.

· Test performance: dashboard load times, rendering, refresh times, interactivity responsiveness.

· Validate schema, metadata, datatype, null-handling, default values, referential integrity, deduplication, etc.

· Test pipelines for error handling, edge/negative cases (e.g. missing/incorrect data, API failures if upstream), retries, timeouts.

· Keep up to date with tools, frameworks, best practices for front-end testing and contribute to improving QA processes.

· Report on quality metrics: test coverage, defect counts/severity, test execution progress, risk areas, etc.

· Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business users, gather feedback, document issues.

· Log, track, and manage defects. Follow through defect fixes and re-test.

· Maintain test documentation: test cases, test results, issue logs, traceability to requirements.

· Experience with web front-end framework (e.g. React)

· Knowledge of Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service), including working with DAX, data models, visualizations.

· Significant experience in data pipeline / ETL / ELT testing. Specific experience with Azure Data Factory

· Proven experience in integration testing (system-to-system, service interfaces, APIs).

· Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems

· Good communication skills—able to explain defects, reproduce issues, collaborate with developers and business users.
