Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Team Leader to help drive sales, deliver outstanding customer service, and support the daily operations of our store. As a team leader, you will supervise team members, ensure company standards are met, and act as a key point of contact in the absence of management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in daily operations and team management.
  • Lead, motivate, and coach the retail team to achieve sales and performance targets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues professionally.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained, merchandised correctly, and inventory is accurately tracked.
  • Handle cash management procedures including opening/closing tills and banking.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
  • Conduct onboarding and training for new team members.
  • Monitor store cleanliness and visual merchandising according to brand guidelines.
  • Assist in preparing reports on sales, staff performance, and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proven retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in retail/business is a plus.
