Trainee (QA/QC/Production/R&D/Purchase)

Role & responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance (QA):

  • Assist in reviewing SOPs, BMRs, and BPRs.
  • Support documentation for regulatory compliance (GMP, WHO, USFDA, etc.)
  • Help with internal audits and CAPA implementation.
  • Monitor and maintain quality management systems (QMS).

2. Quality Control (QC):

  • Perform basic sampling, testing, and analysis under supervision.
  • Operate analytical instruments like HPLC, UV, Dissolution Tester, etc. (training provided).
  • Assist in preparation of reagents, volumetric solutions, and reports.
  • Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and ensure compliance.

3. Production:

  • Understand the manufacturing process of tablets, capsules, ointments, etc.
  • Learn operations of granulation, compression, coating, and packing machines.
  • Follow safety and GMP norms on the shop floor.
  • Support documentation such as BMRs and logbooks.

4. Research & Development (R&D):

  • Assist in formulation development and pilot batch trials.
  • Conduct lab experiments under supervision.
  • Maintain experimental records and data sheets.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience.
  • Basic understanding of pharma manufacturing / QA / QC / R&D / Production.
  • Willingness to work in shifts (if required).
  • Good communication skills and a keen interest in learning.
