Role & responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on EOT cranes Capacity : 63/25 Ton,16/8 Ton or 3.2 Ton,10 Ton,7.5 Ton,5 Ton ,Hot Metal Ladle(3 Ton),Hot Metal Transfer Car-65 Ton & Ladle ,Preheater,Forklift-10 Ton,5 Ton as per schedule.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues in EOT cranes.
  • Carry out corrective repairs and part replacements (e.g., Brake Shoes, Couplings, Motors, Gearboxes, Main Hoist & Aux Hoist Wire Rope ,LT,CT Wheel Change)
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, breakdowns, and repairs.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure cranes comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with the operations team to minimize crane downtime.
  • Liaise with OEMs or third-party vendors for major repairs or upgrades
  • Assist in installation and commissioning of new cranes or crane components.
  • Implement modifications or upgrades to improve crane performance or safety.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to workplace safety practices.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems (especially motors, brakes)
  • Strong understanding of crane safety standards
  • Proficient in fault finding and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with SAP,MS Office
  • Good communication and team coordination skills.
  • Physical fitness for working at heights and in industrial environment.
  • awareness about industrial safety.
