What we are looking for

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Lead (Analyst) with minimum 3.8 years of experience in finance or business operations. The ideal candidate will have exposure to pricing support, project financial tracking, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A). This role will help provide insights into cost management, pricing trends, utilization tracking, and revenue reporting to support data-driven business decisions.

What you'll do

  1. Pricing & Cost Analysis

  2. Support pricing model preparation including bill rates, cost rates, and margin assumptions

  3. Help maintain rate cards and assist in volume discount analysis

  4. Work with finance and operations teams to validate inputs and ensure pricing accuracy

  5. MIS Reporting & FP&A Support

  6. Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly MIS dashboards and variance reports

  7. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles by gathering and analyzing financial data

  8. Track key metrics like revenue, cost, gross margins, and utilization \

  9. Project Financial Tracking

  10. Help maintain project budgets and perform cost tracking

  11. Monitor actual spend vs. estimates and assist in variance analysis

  12. Collaborate with project managers to flag risks and recommend corrective actions

  13. Utilization Monitoring

  14. Prepare and track utilization reports for delivery teams

  15. Assist with headcount and resource tracking for workforce planning

  16. Account Receivables & Billing Coordination

  17. Support AR tracking and follow-up for overdue invoices

  18. Coordinate with the billing team for timely invoice submissions
  19. Assist in preparing AR aging reports for review

Must Have

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration
  • Approximately 3.5 years of experience in finance, preferably in a consulting, IT, or professional services firm
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (lookup functions, pivot tables, basic dashboards)
  • Familiarity with any accounting system such as Tally Prime, QuickBooks is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Exposure to budgeting, pricing, or revenue analysis
  • Understanding of project cost structures
  • Ability to handle data and present insights clearly
