Office Administrator
Astr Defence Pvt Ltd, a leading Indian defence technology manufacturer specializing in advanced defence solutions, is looking for a dynamic and organized Office Administrator to support day-to-day business operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth administrative, HR, and accounting processes while maintaining accurate documentation and compliance in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Office Administration & Coordination
• Manage day-to-day office operations, documentation, and correspondence.
• Coordinate meetings, schedules, and travel arrangements.
• Maintain office inventory, supplies, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure smooth communication across departments.
2. HR & Payroll Support
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee records.
• Support payroll management and attendance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and organizational HR policies.
3. Accounts & Compliance
• Support basic accounting functions, expense tracking, and petty cash management.
• Maintain statutory and official documents in accordance with company and government regulations.
• Coordinate with the Accountant for audits, bills, and vendor payments.
4. Documentation & Reporting
• Prepare reports, letters, and business documents with accuracy.
• Maintain digital and physical filing systems for easy record retrieval.
• Support management with data collation and presentation preparation.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in office administration, HR, or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken & written).
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to multitask, handle confidential information, and work independently.
