Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mining Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in the iron ore mining industry. The candidate must possess strong technical expertise in mine planning, operations, and safety management. The role involves overseeing mining activities, ensuring efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and oversee mining operations for iron ore extraction.
  • Conduct geological assessments and feasibility studies to optimize mine production.
  • Prepare short-term and long-term mine plans and schedules.
  • Monitor mining processes to ensure safety, productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with geologists, surveyors, and production teams for effective execution of projects.
  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
  • Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assist in equipment selection, utilization, and maintenance planning.
  • Prepare reports, technical documentation, and presentations for management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
  • 2–4 years of proven experience in the iron ore mining industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mine planning, design, and scheduling software (e.g., Surpac, Minex, Datamine).
  • Familiarity with drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling processes.
  • Good understanding of mining laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to work at remote mine sites and travel as required.
