Role Overview

The Sales Trainee role is designed for fresh engineering graduates who are passionate about building a career in industrial sales. The trainee will undergo structured training and mentorship while assisting the sales team in daily activities such as lead generation, client visits, market research, and proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales executive/senior sales team in lead generation and client engagement.
  • Participate in customer visits, product demonstrations, and exhibitions.
  • Learn to prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations under guidance.
  • Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis.
  • Maintain sales documentation, reports, and CRM entries.
  • Coordinate with technical and service teams for order execution.
  • Continuously learn about automation products, CNC machines, metrology, and robotics solutions.

Candidate Profile

  • Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Fresher / up to 1 year of experience (internships or projects in automation/manufacturing preferred).
  • Interest in industrial sales & customer interaction.
  • Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Quick learner with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Owning a two-wheeler with valid license is an advantage.
