  • Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on a variety of equipment and systems, such as electrical wiring, machinery, plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and kitchen equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues in complex mechanical and electrical systems by reading technical diagrams and manuals.
  • Installation: Install new equipment and components, including replacing light bulbs and air conditioning filters.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate logs and records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage parts inventory, and requisition necessary supplies and materials.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and training to other staff members as needed.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Versatility: Proficiency in various technical areas, such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from technical diagrams, schematics, and service manuals.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical work, including lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
