Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and client-centric
Account Manager – Business Development
to strengthen our client partnerships and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing B2B client relationships, identifying business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver value-driven research solutions. This role is pivotal in growing our strategic accounts and building long-term relationships with global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of key client accounts across geographies and industries
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to expand revenue streams
- Understand client needs, industry challenges, and project requirements to deliver tailored solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction
- Collaborate with research and project delivery teams to align outputs with client expectations
- Track account health metrics and prepare regular reports on client activity and performance
- Lead client review meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations
- Maintain accurate CRM records and contribute to the overall business development strategy
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in account management, business development, or client servicing in a B2B environment
- Proven ability to build strong client relationships and drive revenue growth
- Experience in research, consulting, or knowledge services is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative approach to client engagement
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced setup
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in managing international client accounts or exposure to global markets
- Understanding of research and consulting service delivery models
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
