Finance Analyst Project & Investment Tracking

Key Responsibilities

  • Periodically update the Voyager Financial Tracker with changes and ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain and submit the monthly PO GR tracker to the PMO for Goods Receipts.
  • Prepare backup files for monthly recharge and accrual requests to the GDBS Finance Team.
  • Review GPR Pre-close report before GL close, ensuring alignment with forecasted P&L.
  • Update financial tracker with actuals and provide explanations for variances vs. Latest Estimate (LE).
  • Prepare and share the Planview Allocation file with the GDBS Finance Team.
  • Update financial tracker with Planview recharges and perform variance analysis.
  • Rework and implement IBM, EY, Syniti, SNP forecast files into the tracker; analyze key variances.
  • Monitor Resource Tracker on a bi-weekly basis and reconcile with the financial tracker.
  • Reconcile Planview allocations vs. Payroll files; prepare correct recharge requests to eliminate unallocated balances and ensure compliance with PWC requirements.
  • Prepare the financial tracker prior to Business Performance Meetings (BPMs).
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative and financial requests.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: University/College degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a finance or project-related environment.

  • Financial Knowledge:

  • Understanding of how investments impact P&L and Cash Flow.

  • Strong financial analysis and variance explanation skills.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, variance analysis).

  • Strong knowledge of MS PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

  • Hands-on experience with Planview and financial tracking systems.
