Job Overview
V Catapult is seeking a Junior Inventory Manager for a full-time position in Chennai. The candidate must have 1 to 3 years of work experience in managing inventories and ensuring efficient control processes. The role requires sound knowledge and expertise in inventory control and involves working within our structured and process-oriented model to optimize inventory management processes, supporting our recruitment services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Inventory Control (Mandatory skill): Expert knowledge and proven experience in inventory management practices to ensure efficient inventory control.
- Supply Chain Management: In-depth understanding of supply chain processes to effectively manage stock levels and order quantities.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing data to forecast inventory needs and optimize stock levels accordingly.
- Logistics: Ability to manage logistics operations effectively and efficiently to support inventory management.
- Vendor Management: Skilled in coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Forecasting: Strong capability to predict future inventory requirements and align with market demands.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to manage inventory records accurately and ensure consistent inventory accountability.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, track orders, investigate problems, and process inventory returns.
- Coordinate and manage the company's supply chain logistics to optimize stock availability and minimize overstock scenarios.
- Analyze sales patterns and business trends to forecast inventory demand and inform procurement strategies.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventories.
- Develop inventory control processes and procedures to maintain organizational integrity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of inventory management with the company's recruitment operations.
- Regularly review inventory control systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Prepare detailed inventory reports for internal reporting and management review to support decision-making processes.
