The Asian Demi Chef de Partie is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic Asian cuisine in accordance with restaurant standards. The role supports the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and hygiene while contributing to a positive and efficient kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes (Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Indian, or Pan-Asian, depending on concept).
 - Assist the Chef de Partie in daily kitchen operations and menu preparation.
 - Ensure all dishes are cooked and presented to the highest standard in both taste and appearance.
 - Maintain proper stock control, portioning, and food wastage minimization.
 - Follow standard recipes while also contributing creative ideas for Asian specials or seasonal menus.
 - Adhere to HACCP and kitchen hygiene standards at all times.
 - Ensure correct storage, labeling, and rotation of food items (FIFO).
 - Assist in training and mentoring Commis Chefs and kitchen helpers.
 - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen equipment.
 - Work closely with team members to ensure smooth service during busy operations.
 - Support the Sous Chef in implementing kitchen policies, procedures, and safety measures.
 
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Asian cuisine, cooking methods, spices, and flavor profiles.
 - Good knife skills and understanding of wok cooking, steaming, grilling, and stir-frying.
 - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
 - Team player with good communication skills.
 - Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
 - Creative and passionate about Asian culinary arts.
 
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30, ₹32,000.00 per month
