Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts like MoUs, LOIs, Lease Deeds/ATL/LLA, maintenance contracts, fit-out agreements, service agreements, business conducting agreements etc.
  • Provide clarification regarding title/ownership of the properties.
  • Coordination with internal/external stakeholders including tenants/law firms/auditors.
  • Ensure documentation of existing and ongoing retail leasing transactions.
  • Ensure registration of all applicable agreements with respect to retail and commercial transactions.
  • Support legal team on general corporate legal matters.
  • Reviewing legal queries raised by various stakeholders and preparing responses. Coordinating with external counsel where necessary for preparing the responses.
  • Track reporting requirements under all long-term contracts executed by Aparna Group and its assets.
  • Legal research on relevant areas.
  • Compliance reporting.
  • MIS.
  • Basic understanding of litigation/coordination with external lawyers.

Qualifications and Work Experience:

  • Law Graduate / Post Graduate
  • 4 plus years of relevant experience with at least 1-2 years of a reputed Law firm / malls / commercial experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Effective verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in people management.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other reporting tools.
  • Eye for details and think out of the box.
  • Proactive and team player.
