Job Description:

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Manager Production (Printing & Converting) for our Ranjangaon unit. The ideal candidate must come from the corrugated packaging industry with hands-on experience in printing and converting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities in the printing and converting department.
  • Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and efficiency targets.
  • Coordinate with the planning and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor and optimize machine performance, manpower allocation, and resource utilization.
  • Lead a team of operators and technicians; ensure proper training and skill development.
  • Implement safety and 5S practices on the shop floor.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate production reports and documentation.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the corrugated packaging industry, specifically in printing and converting.
  • Strong knowledge of corrugation machinery, printing (flexo, slotter, rotary die-cutter, etc.), and post-print processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or relevant engineering discipline preferred.
