Key Responsibilities:

Tender Sourcing:

  • Identify and track relevant tenders and business opportunities in the oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, and energy sectors through online portals, government websites, and client networks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and tendering authorities.

Pre-Bid Activities:

  • Analyze the tender documents (ITB, scope of work, technical specifications, commercial terms).
  • Conduct site visits (if required) and attend pre-bid meetings.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, procurement, finance) for technical and commercial inputs.

Estimation:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, manpower, equipment, subcontracting, and overheads.
  • Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to get competitive quotes and ensure the accuracy of pricing.

Tender Documentation:

  • Compile and prepare complete bid packages in line with tender requirements.
  • Draft technical proposals, method statements, project execution plans, and compliance matrices.
  • Ensure timely submission of tenders as per deadlines with proper documentation and follow-ups.

Post-Bid Follow-Up:

  • Support the sales/business development team in post-bid clarifications and negotiations.
  • Assist in contract review once the tender is awarded.

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in tendering and estimation in the oil and gas or EPC industry.
  • Familiarity with public and private tender portals.
  • Strong knowledge of BOQ, technical specifications, and contract terms.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Projects, AutoCAD (optional), and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
