IT Procurement license manager

We are currently looking for a specialist within IT license management and IT procurement. As a senior representative of IT procurement, you will be required to network, present, and constantly liaise with a range of stakeholders within our organisation and with current and future global IT suppliers. Therefore, it is essential you are a strong communicator with the ability to efficiently deliver your message whilst developing lasting relationships. You will have the ability to develop and implement a range of procurement activities that could take anything from a couple of weeks to several months and will have varying degrees of complexity. 

Your responsibilities

In this role as License Manager & Procurement Specialist, you will work within the IT Procurement team to administer IT software licenses, renewals and contracts. Reporting to the Head of IT procurement you will be responsible for designated areas and escalating issues where necessary.

What you bring

  • Knowledge of vendor management best practices and methodologies. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT vendor management or a similar role. 
  • Strong understanding of IT technologies, systems, and processes. 
  • Proven negotiation and contract management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience with asset management technologies and related integrations 
  • MS Office knowledge, in particular with Excel for reporting 
  • Able to manage and prioritize tasks and time efficiently 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, articulate and diplomatic manner 
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility, flexible attitude and a can-do attitude  
  • Ability to work flexibly to join meetings in the time zone of our internal users and global suppliers, for example in the USA, India and Europe.
