About the Role -

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL and hands-on experience in modern data platforms. The role will primarily involve working with SQL-based solutions while contributing to our evolving Python-based data framework. Exposure to Snowflake and data migration projects will be a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data processing.
  • Work with large datasets across multiple systems ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Support the Python-based frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, analytics, and technology) to understand requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across systems including Snowflake.
  • Troubleshoot issues in existing data processes and continuously improve performance.

Required Skills

  • 35 years of proven experience in SQL development (complex queries, optimization, stored procedures).
  • Strong working knowledge of Python for data processing and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, debugging, and error handling in data workflows.
  • Good understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data integration techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with any ETL tools.
  • Knowledge or experience with Snowflake.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices in data engineering.
