Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Business Development Executive to spearhead our international client acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in generating leads and securing projects in web, mobile app, and software development domains, primarily through freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and Fiverr.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation:
Identify and engage potential international clients through platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and direct outreach. Upwork - Proposal Management:
Craft and submit compelling proposals tailored to client requirements, ensuring a high conversion rate. - Client Communication:
Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates. - Negotiation & Closing:
Negotiate project scopes, budgets, and timelines to close deals effectively. - Relationship Building:
Foster and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals. - Market Research:
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets to identify new business opportunities. Upwork - Reporting:
Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, conversion rates, and revenue generated.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in business development or sales, specifically in the IT/software development sector. - Platform Proficiency:
Demonstrated success in acquiring projects through Upwork, Freelancer, and similar platforms. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. - Technical Understanding:
Basic knowledge of web technologies, mobile applications, and software development processes. - Self-Motivation:
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet targets without constant supervision. - Tools Familiarity:
Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. - Certifications:
Relevant certifications in sales or business development are a plus. - Multilingual:
Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
