Job Title: HR Operations
Location: Mundra, Gujarat
Role Purpose
The Site Operation HR will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing the human resource functions at the Mundra site . This role is designed to ensure seamless HR operations, effective employee relations, and compliance with industrial relations (IR) laws, while fostering a culture of growth and collaboration. The position aligns with companys mission to drive operational excellence and support the organizations renewable energy goals by ensuring a motivated and engaged workforce at the site level.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all HR operations at the Mundra site, ensuring alignment with
companys strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement site-specific HR policies and procedures to enhance
operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations, addressing grievances,
and fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable industrial relations (IR) laws and labor
regulations, mitigating risks and maintaining legal adherence.
- Collaborate with site leadership to identify workforce needs and implement
effective talent acquisition and retention strategies.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives tailored to the unique needs of the site
workforce, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Monitor and manage HR metrics, including absenteeism, turnover rates, and
employee performance, to support data-driven decision-making.
- Facilitate training and development programs to upskill employees and align their
capabilities with the organizations goals.
- Partner with corporate HR and other business units to ensure consistency in HR
practices and alignment with companys /Group's values and policies.
- Support the implementation of digital HR tools and systems to streamline processes
and enhance operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience of 7–10 years in HR operations, with a focus on site-level
management and industrial relations.
- Strong knowledge of IR laws, labor regulations, and compliance requirements
specific to the renewable energy or manufacturing sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workforce
management in a large-scale operational environment.
Educational Background
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial Relations is
preferred.
Years & Type of Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in HR operations, with at least 3 years in a site-based role
within the renewable energy or manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with
IR laws in a large-scale operational setup.
Domain Expertise
- In-depth understanding of industrial relations laws and labor compliance in India.
- Experience in managing HR operations in a manufacturing or renewable energy
environment.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures tailored to
site-specific needs.
Digital & Operational Tools
- Familiarity with HR management systems (HRMS) and payroll software.
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools for HR metrics and reporting.
- Experience with digital platforms for employee engagement and training.
Leadership Capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with employees
and leadership at all levels.
- Proven ability to lead and manage HR teams in a dynamic and fast-paced
environment.
- Demonstrated capability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous
improvement.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex HR challenges and
align with business objectives.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
Expertise in Site Operations Management
The candidate must have a proven track record of managing site operations
effectively. This includes overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring operational
efficiency, and addressing on-ground challenges. Given the scale and complexity of
company's projects, the ability to manage site operations is critical to maintaining
project timelines and quality standards. This aligns with the business unit's strategic
goal of deploying the latest technologies and maintaining operational excellence
across its renewable energy projects.
In-depth Knowledge of Industrial Relations (IR) Laws
A comprehensive understanding of IR laws is essential for this role. The candidate
must be adept at handling labor relations, resolving disputes, and ensuring
compliance with labor laws. This is crucial for fostering a harmonious work
environment and mitigating risks associated with labor unrest, which can impact
project delivery. This requirement supports company's commitment to "Growth

Strong Leadership and Stakeholder Management Skills
