Job Description

We are seeking an experienced
US Payroll Specialist / Payroll Processing Lead
with strong expertise in payroll operations, compliance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing high-volume payroll processes across multiple regions and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and process excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage
    end-to-end payroll processing
    for multiple countries (US + other regions).
  • Ensure compliance with
    federal, state, and local payroll laws
    while maintaining strong financial controls.
  • Oversee
    accurate payroll runs
    , troubleshoot issues, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Lead
    process improvement initiatives
    to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Administer and evaluate
    Payroll & HR programs
    , tools, and classification systems.
  • Collaborate with managers to support process improvements and program rollouts.
  • Train new and existing employees on Payroll & HR processes, policies, and compliance standards.
  • Lead a team responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Manage
    escalations
    , coordinate with vendors/partners, and ensure service-level adherence.

Requirements / Eligibility

  • 5–6 years of experience in
    Payroll Processing / Payroll Management
    in a mid or large-sized organization.
  • Strong foundation in
    Payroll & HR processes
    , especially high-volume payroll.
  • Proficient in
    payroll systems
    , accounting software, and databases.
  • Strong mathematical and basic accounting understanding.
  • Excellent
    team leadership
    , coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage
    vendors/payroll partners
    effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across departments and teams.
