About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive (5–8 years) who can independently manage end-to-end accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AP, AR, Balance Sheet finalization, statutory requirements, and hands-on experience in company auditing and winding-down processes.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Finance

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP): Invoice processing, vendor reconciliation, vendor payments, and expense monitoring.
  • Handle Accounts Receivable (AR): Customer invoicing, collections follow-up, booking receipts, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet schedules, ledgers, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Perform bank reconciliation, cash flow monitoring, fund management, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly Journal Entries, accruals, and support month-end / year-end closing.

Audit & Compliance

  • Support and coordinate Statutory Audit, Internal Audit, GST Audit, and Tax Audit.
  • Ensure timely compliance with TDS, GST filings, reconciliations, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage documentation for audit purposes and liaise with auditors for queries and clarifications.

Company Winding-Down / Closure Activities (Important)

  • Assist in company winding-down processes, including financial closure, asset/liability reconciliation, statutory filings, and submission of required documents.
  • Coordinate with legal, compliance, and audit teams for ROC filings, final accounts preparation, and settlement closures.
  • Ensure all financial obligations (vendors, taxes, employee settlements) are accurately completed before closure.

Documentation & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate and systematic documentation of all financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure smooth operations.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of AP, AR, General Ledger, and Balance Sheet finalization.
  • Experience in statutory audits, internal audits,GST/TAX compliance, and company closure activities.
  • Good understanding of accounting standards, Ind-AS basics, GST, TDS, and statutory requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Books.
  • Strong analytical thinking, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance).
  • 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Accounts, AP/AR, Balance Sheet finalization, audit, and compliance.
  • Experience handling company wind-down and statutory closure activities is an added advantage.
