Job Title: Senior Account Executive – Supermarket

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive to join our supermarket's finance team. The ideal candidate will handle daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support management with timely reports and analysis to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and vendor accounts.
  • Monitor stock entries, purchase bills, and sales records for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with store operations and purchase departments for invoice validation and expense tracking.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, expense reports, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
  • Support external audits and maintain proper documentation.
  • Guide junior accounting staff and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Master's preferred).
  • 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, supermarket, or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / MS Excel and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
