Job Description

Summary:

We are looking for a database administrator who will work on opensource databases specializing in AWS environment, you will be reporting to Engineering Manager and collaborate with global teams to maintain 24/ 7 product availability. You will be reporting to SRE Manager and working in hybrid mode.

Your Responsibilities:
  • As a member of our Data Services team, you will help manage our application technologies in public cloud and adoption of new technologies including open-source technologies.
  • You will help us improve the reliability and delivery of our products. You will join a team that will ensure that issues are resolved in an organized manner as quickly and efficiently as possible.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering , or equivalent experience.
  • Overall 4 years of experience in DBA
  • Experience managing MySQL and Postgres SQL
  • Experience working on AWS - Amazon Web Services
  • Experience setting up backup schedules and securing data.
  • Experience building automation scripts for database server builds using terraform, cloudformation, ansible, Git
  • Experience with Operations technologies including the following: o Server Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux) o Virtualization Environments
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to participate in an On-Call rotation.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Experience of working on Microsoft Azure
  • .Experience MS SQL, Kibana and Logstash
