
Application Support Associate

Position Overview:
This role involves troubleshooting issues, resolving technical glitches, and providing guidance to users. Acting as a bridge between end-users and development teams, collaborating to maintain and optimize application performance.
Role & responsibilities:
1) Providing technical assistance to end-users via various channels (phone, email, in-person).
2) Proactively monitoring application performance and identifying potential problems.
3)Working with development teams, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to resolve complex issues and improve application functionality.
4) Identifying and implementing RCA to improve application performance and efficiency.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Core Trading software applications and systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of database management and query languages (e.g., SQL)
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is often beneficial
- Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux)
- Have already worked in a support role for L1/L2 in broking firm
Preferred candidate profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Application Support
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in broking industry is a must
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Customer-centric approach and patience when dealing with users
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptability and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
