The ideal candidate will be responsible for using their analytical mindset to analyze and interpret financial data, then relating it to potential business trends and issues. This candidate will feel comfortable using insights they have discovered to communicate important themes and discoveries to company leadership.

Role Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze Staffing industry related financial and economic data for several competitors in the US market
  • Monitors, reviews, and documents competitor actions including key staffing changes, new technology, and other changes. Determines impact on business and report as appropriate
  • Perform specialized tasks such as key facts research, market/industry/economic overview research and analysis, comparable company analysis/comparable transaction analysis, screening, etc. in both normal and high-pressure situations
  • Prepare financial models (ROI/company valuation) and statistical models
  • Perform daily, monthly and quarterly tasks, which include performing quality control on market data collected.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects to optimize processes

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years' experience in market data analysis, performance analysis, valuations
  • Candidate from finance domain/having good finance knowledge.
  • Candidate pursuing or cleared CFA level 1 preferred.
  • Prior experience in Buy-side/sell-side activities preferred
  • Prior experience in working with US clients/counterparts preferred
  • Work experience in statistical modeling, quantitative research, financial analysis & data mining techniques
  • Proven ability to apply mathematical and statistical techniques in the development of financial models
  • Strong Excel skills & excellent communication skills
