As a Senior Business Analyst with implementation expertise, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technical developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless implementation of projects, particularly in the financial crime and compliance domain. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, domain knowledge, and hands-on experience in system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in end-to-end implementation of financial crime and compliance Product (AML).
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deploy solutions, including initial installation, patches, upgrades, application configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support.
  • Document and validate configuration settings tailored to the client's environment.
  • Lead data integration tasks, including source-to-target data mapping and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and Technical Specification Documents (TSD).
  • Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Utilize knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) to address regulatory requirements effectively.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making processes through financial modelling.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis and regulatory trends.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend improvements.
  • Support process re-engineering initiatives to optimize operational workflows.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering their growth and development.
  • Demonstrate best practices in problem-solving and analytical approaches.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and external clients.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure project alignment.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations to ensure solutions meet compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address governance and risk management requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the fintech or financial crime and compliance industry.
  • Proven track record in implementing financial crime and compliance product solutions, such as NICE-Actimize, Oracle FCCM, or SAS-AML.
  • Experience in Agile methodology and a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Hands-on experience in database management and SQL scripting.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of ISMS (Information Security Management Systems) is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
  • Strong understanding of governance, control, and risk management practices.
