Job Title: Senior Power BI Lead / BI Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Power BI Lead / BI Manager to drive our business intelligence initiatives. The candidate should possess advanced expertise in Power BI, data modeling, and analytics, with strong leadership capabilities to guide BI teams and lead end-to-end BI project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage BI development teams to deliver scalable, high-performance BI solutions.
  • Design, develop, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, DAX calculations, and Power Query transformations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into actionable analytics solutions.
  • Implement best practices in data modeling, performance tuning, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
  • Oversee ETL workflows, data integration, and data warehousing processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy, governance, and security across BI platforms.
  • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align BI strategies with business goals.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI) development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • PL-300 certification is mandatory.
  • Strong experience with forecasting, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud BI platforms (Microsoft Fabric preferred).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, or Databricks.
  • Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics and automation.
  • Additional certification in Power BI or Microsoft Data Platform.
